A ripped-up carcass lies sprawled on the side of the path. You gasp--who would do such a thing? Its ribs are cracked and showing, and scars adorn its body. Its whole lower jaw's bone shows through, and rips revealing muscle mark its leg and face.
You hesitantly step over to it... The poor thing! Its eyes are closed, and it looks as if it had died in a battle. You gently touch its face...
Not the smartest thing to do. Its eyes flash open and it growls at you, snarling as it gets to its feet. It was alive! You scramble back to the road, resisting the urge to scream. When you look back, her body is low to the ground--her stance is one of a predator. As you watch, her front paws flare up. She was burning! Water... fast, or she would die. She shouldn't die, even if she is a monster--or something equivalent. But even as you watch, she starts to walk forward. The fire doesn't faze her a bit! Dazed, you stand there stupidly. She mutters something inaudible, and you can suddenly feel yourself losing energy... What? Why? Nothing you're doing could possibly use up much energy. You start to wobble from some foreign exhaustion. Then, suddenly, the draining feeling stops.
"Have you ever died, human?" The kat sneers at you. "No? Surprising. Such a pathetic creature as yourself should not have lived a day." Her sneer turns to a look of hatred. "I have died. It is not fun--you suffer. Would you like me to show you? No?" She snarls. "Pity. But you have other uses. A new playtoy for Eymere... Yes..." Cackling, she moves back into the trees.
You try to get away fast, but you're too sapped of energy to get farther than a foot before you keel over, helpless. As you stagger up, a smaller creature makes her prescence known, glaring and growling in your face, tail lashing.
You gasp, arms too weak to hold you any longer. Above you, you can hear the cub speaking. "A new playtoy?" She laughs. "A wonderful gift. You would be fit for... Yes, a chewtoy." She eyes you greedily before lowering her voice and glancing around. "Unfortunately, I am not quite insane like my mother. Any sentient creature is protected in these lands--though you hardly qualify as sentient--and I must let you go." Your small breath of relief is halted halfway out when she continues with, "However! If we ever find you've let my mother's little 'mishap' slip out, you may not be so lucky." With a last warning glance, she leaves along her mother's trail. You can just hear her mutter, "Oh, you would serve so well as a chewtoy..." before you begin your long, weary journey home.

Female Fire Undead kat of wild parentage. Phrenesia was the first kat to explore this realm in September 2001. With her mate, Kinshuu, she founded Pride of the Wildfire and is raising Eymere and Higuuchi.
Phrenesia is now an Undead. She's almost Throbb's slave whenever he calls upon her. Basically she's the same, but Undead. She cannot die again. Undeads require Lifeforce to survive. They do not eat, nor drink anything but lifeforce. She still has her Fire abilities, but will never learn any more Fire abilities because she is no longer a 'pure' Fire.
Fire Paw--Basic Ability to turn their front paws into flames.
Fire Wave--A wave of fire.
Fire Storm--A storm of fire falls upon the target, trapping it within the eye of the storm, an ultimate ability if used correctly.
Smoke Burn--A cloud of smoke that burns the target.
Smoke Cover--The Kat is hidden in a cloud of black smoke.
Soul Drain--Ability to feed off the lifeforce of the target.
Intake--Ability to 'breath in' wave abilities and 'breath' them back out, sending them back at the target. The target will not be immune to the wave as it is now an undead wave. Waves usually turn black when they're sent back at the target.
Undead Flames--Flames surround the target, and then explode, burning and ripping flesh off the target.
Fires of the Demon World--The target is surrounded by flames, above, below, everywhere. There is no escaping this ability unless the target can teleport. The flames then turn black and vanish, reappearing inside the target and burning it from within. This will cause great pain only seconds before the target is dead, and crispy. It's entire lifeforce is then obsorbed by the user, only to be returned to the target in 12hrs.
