You walk slowly up to a solitary figure in the moonlight. She sits heavily, with her side leaning against a tree trunk and her gaze to the stars. You walk with steps loud enough for her to hear you, but no more than that. When you stop about ten feet away from her, she addresses you with only one word: "Hello."
Her voice is warm, but sounds stressed and tired. She says no more until you introduce yourself, and then only, "I am Leukos." She sounds resentful; as if she'd come here to get away from something. You soon find out what that something is.
A hiss in the branches above you announces the presence of something else. You jerk your head up in surprise, and you see above you two yellow eyes--eyes that seem to burn. Immediately after you catch sight of them, your vision goes white.
You stumble around blindly for a second before you hear a soft thump on the earth behind you. In your panicked turn around, the toe of your boot catches a root, and you fall face first to the ground. Afraid of the creature leaping on you when you're down, you try to get upright, when a loud voice booms, "Blanduun!"
By now you have your sight back. Standing before you and glaring at the beast from the tree is the kat called Leukos, and you now see that the 'beast' is only a little cub, who's snarling at his mother.
"That is no way to behave around guests," the larger of the kats storms angrily. "And don't you snarl at me! I have told you countless times not to threaten the travelers! Now get back--"
"I'll do whatever I want," the young one interrupts in a thinner--but just as forceful--voice. "I'll just go and live with another kat in the realm, and you can't stop me. I'll stay with Higuuchi's family--they won't mind me hurting their visitors."
As he takes a breath, Leukos's eyes narrow. "That cub Higuuchi is a no-good, spoiled brat," she hisses. "And yes, I can stop you." She lunges at him, and grabbing him by the scruff of the neck, she heads off into the woods. You wince at the scratches she receives from his sharp claws, and begin to wonder if you were ever like that...
Leukos acquired the orb while journeying with Daemuun and Asahi when they were all cubs. Their journey culminated with Shura's release.
The Orb is white with a single purple marking, and is 'encaged' with the gold 'x'. Then there are two water phoenix feathers beside it, and a few gold beads. Other than a shield, the Orb can heal fatal wounds of Leukos, but only non-fatal wounds of others. It can't regenerate limbs, though. She'll need to get it upgraded by Orcle to get some Offensive powers for the Orb. The shield can block all abilities which are not psychic, mist, dust, or instant kill.
Light Cloak--Ability to turn into light, or rather the ability to be covered in a veil of blinding light.
